Ola Electric Q2 Loss Widens to ₹495 Crore; Revenue Grows 39% as EV Market Matures

<p>Ola Electric on Tuesday reported a widened net loss of ₹495 crore for Q2 FY25, up from ₹347 crore in the same quarter last year, as the electric two-wheeler maker continued to invest heavily in manufacturing scale-up and R&D. Revenue from operations grew 39% year-on-year to ₹1,214 crore, beating analyst estimates.</p><p>The company shipped 115,000 electric scooters in the quarter, maintaining its position as India largest EV two-wheeler maker with a 32% market share. However, its share has been declining from 49% a year ago as competitors like TVS, Bajaj, and Ather Energy ramp up production.</p><p>CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said the company would reach EBITDA breakeven by Q4 FY25, adding that the upcoming S1 Z model targeting the ₹80,000-price segment would be key to defending market share. Shares fell 3.2% on the results.</p>
